The PGA Tour and a competitive field of the world's best players return to the Yokohama Country Club with the Baycurrent Classic on the line. Who will win in Japan come Sunday?

Xander Schauffele is back to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Max Greyserman in 2025.

Past and present Major winners who will tee off on Thursday include Wyndham Clark, Xander Schauffele, Hideki Matsuyama, Collin Morikawa, Adam Scott, Keegan Bradley, Brian Harman, Justin Thomas, and Jordan Spieth.

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Collin Morikawa

Collin Morikawa has been in solid form on the PGA Tour lately, placing T17 at the U.S. Open, 3rd at the Travelers Championship, T18 at the Open Championship, T52 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T4 at the BMW Championship and T14 at the Tour Championship.

Other noteworthy results achieved by Morikawa this season include a victory at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, a T7 at the Genesis Invitational, 5th at the Arnold Palmer Invitational, a T7 at the Masters, and a T4 at the RBC Heritage.

The two-time Major champion has contested the Baycurrent Classic on seven occasions, finishing T22 in 2020, T50 in 2021, T7 in 2022, T45 in 2023, a victory in 2023, T54 in 2024, and T14 in 2025.

Morikawa can convert his recent results into a winning performance at the Yokohama Country Club this weekend.

Justin Thomas

Justin Thomas has been thereabouts on the PGA Tour since June, placing T19 at the Memorial Tournament, T17 at the U.S. Open, 3rd at the Travelers Championship, T18 at the Open Championship, T52 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T4 at the BMW Championship and T14 at the Tour Championship.

Other notable results from Thomas' season include a T8 at the Players Championship, a T23 at the Cadillac Championship, 13th at the Truist Championship, a T4 at the PGA Championship, and a T13 at the Charles Schwab Challenge.

The two-time PGA Championship winner has compiled a solid record at the Baycurrent Classic, finishing T17 in 2020, T2 in 2021, and T2 in 2024.

Thomas is overdue for a big result and can pocket the winner's cheque in Yokohama come Sunday.

Min Woo Lee

Min Woo Lee has gone close to winning in his last five starts on the PGA Tour, placing 2nd at the Genesis Scottish Open, T59 at the Open Championship, T55 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, T47 at the BMW Championship, and T4 at the Tour Championship.

The Australian has featured three times at the Baycurrent Classic, finishing T6 in 2023, T27 in 2024, and T10 in 2025.

Lee has had two top-five results in recent outings and can make the frame in Japan this weekend.

Sungjae Im

Sungjae Im has been in decent nick on the PGA Tour during the past two months, placing T15 at the Rocket Classic, T14 at the Wyndham Championship, T5 at the FedEx St. Jude Championship, and T10 at the BMW Championship.
