Miami’s losing run then reached four games with a 9-5 and 9-5 defeats to Tampa Bay, but they did manage to stop the rot briefly with a 3-2 win against Cleveland.

The Mets struggled in the second half of May as they stacked up a bunch of losses, and they started June with two more defeats.
They were beaten 10-5 and 5-4 when they hosted Arizona, settling for a split of the four-game series with the Diamondbacks.
New York bounced back on the road though, as they travelled to Washington and swept the Nationals with 8-7, 6-3 and 9-1 wins.
The Mets failed to make it four-in-a-row as they were beaten 7-2 by Philadelphia in London, but they did hit back to win the second meeting across the pond, downing the Phillies 6-5.
