Los Angeles have been made to earn their place in the 2024 World Series, going 7-4 in the postseason so far.
The Dodgers led the league in regular season wins this year, going 98-64 to claim the National League West crown, but their playoff form has not been as dominant.
They opened the playoffs with a 7-5 victory over San Diego, only to then go behind in the series as they lost the next two meetings, 10-2 at home and 6-5 on the road.
Los Angeles rallied over the next two games though, eliminating the Padres with an 8-0 home win and a 2-0 road victory.
The Dodgers then split the first two games of the series with the New York Mets, winning 9-0 and losing 7-3, before taking control with 8-0 and 10-2 victories in the ‘Big Apple’.
They passed up on their first chance to clinch, losing 12-6 on the road, but took their second opportunity when they returned home to beat the Mets 10-5.
