Cory Sandhagen Form

Cory Sandhagen has gone 7-1 since signing with the UFC in late 2017/early 2018.

He reeled off five straight victories to start his UFC career, beating notable names in Raphael Assuncao and John Lineker.

Sandhagen’s streak was then halted by current bantamweight champion Aljamain Sterling.

Sterling forced Sandhagen to tap out to a rear-naked choke inside 90 seconds in June 2020.

‘The Sandman’ bounced back by knocking out Marlon Moraes in highlight reel fashion in October of that year.

Sandhagen then made it back-to-back wins by knocking out Frankie Edgar with a flying knee in February.

TJ Dillashaw Form

TJ Dillashaw is stepping back into the Octagon for the first time in over two years thanks to a drugs ban.

Prior to his enforced absence Dillashaw had climbed to the top of the bantamweight rankings.

He won the belt by stopping Renan Barao in March 2014 and defended it twice before losing to Dominick Cruz in January 2016.

Dillashaw rebounded by besting John Lineker and Raphael Assuncao over three rounds.

He was rewarded with a chance to regain the title and he did it by stopping Cody Garbrandt in two rounds.

Dillashaw then stopped Garbrandt in the first round in the rematch in August 2018 to retain the belt.

He dropped down for a failed crack at flyweight champion Henry Cejudo in January 2019.

Dillashaw was knocked out inside 32 seconds and a couple of months later he was banned for failing pre-fight and post-fight drug tests.
