Former UFC stars Darren Till and Yoel Romero collide in the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship’s biggest ever main event at the AO Arena in Manchester, England on Saturday, September 26.
The fight can be exclusively seen globally in over 200 countries on DAZN.
Till fought his way into welterweight title contention during his stint with the UFC, but he saw his MMA career fizzle out as he lost five times in six fights between 2018 and 2022, and it was last year that he returned to combat sports by crossing over into boxing.
The 33-year-old signed with the Misfits promotion and followed up a sixth-round knockout of Anthony Taylor with a unanimous decision win over Darren Stewart, and in August he made his full professional debut with a third-round stoppage of Luke Rockhold.
He inked a deal with BKFC after that, and marked his debut in May of this year with a second-round knockout of former reality TV-star Aaron Chalmers.
Till will now look to make it back-to-back wins at the expense of Romero, who at one time was considered one of the most dangerous fighters in the UFC due to his devastating power.
The 49-year-old Cuban crossed over to bare knuckle fighting 12 months ago, and he enjoyed a successful BKFC debut as he knocked out Theo Doukaus in the second round.
Can Romero now score his second victory under the BKFC banner, or will Till delight the ‘hometown’ crowd with a highlight-reel victory?
