The main event in Australia sees Israel Adesanya defend the middleweight title for the first time since regaining it.
His dominant run as champion was brought to a stunning halt in November 2022 when he was knocked out by long-time rival, Alex Pereira, in the final round of their bout.
‘The Last Stylebender’ wasted little time in getting his revenge though, taking out Pereira inside two rounds to regain the crown back in January.
Now he prepares to take on the experienced Sean Strickland, who has won back-to-back fights and threw his name into the hat to face Adesanya when it was clear Dricus Du Plessis would not be ready.
