The main event sees Jon Jones make his first defence of the UFC heavyweight title against two-time former champion Stipe Miocic.
Jones ended a three-year absence from the Octagon back in March when he faced Ciryl Gane for the vacant title, and ‘Bones’ looked like he had never been away as he dominated the Frenchman and tapped him out in just over two minutes.
The two-weight world champion will now look to further cement his status as the greatest of all time by producing another dominant performance at the expense of a man who has held this title twice before, Miocic.
The fighting fireman from Ohio lost the heavyweight title for the first time back in 2018, but he immediately rebounded to regain the title from Daniel Cormier and then won the trilogy fight in August 2020.
Miocic lost the belt to Ngannou in his next fight though, in March 2021, and he has not fought since being stopped in the second round by ‘The Predator’.
He ends his exile at Madison Square Garden on November 11, but can he make a spectacular return to dethrone Jones, or will ‘Bones’ enjoy his first successful title defence and remain the ‘baddest man on the planet’?
