They avoided a fourth straight loss by beating Utah 147-134, only to immediately return to losing ways as they were beaten 119-112 in Orlando.
Atlanta have not lost since though, sparking a three-game win streak with a 133-109 win in Brooklyn.
The Hawks then closed out the regular season by beating Philadelphia 124-110 on the road and Orlando 117-105 at home.
