Chicago remain on the road and will look to bounce back from opening night in New Orleans.
The Bulls, who have lost in the Play-In Tournament in each of the past two seasons, were beaten 123-111 Pelicans on Wednesday night.
They had gone into that matchup having won their final two pre-season games to go into 3-2 in their preparations for the campaign.
Chicago opened pre-season with a 116-112 victory in Cleveland, before losing 124-121 at home to Memphis and 111-107 in Milwaukee.
The Bulls rebounded from that loss to the Bucks with a 125-123 win over Minnesota, before beating Cleveland 139-137 in overtime.

Milwaukee go into their second game of the season looking to back up the win over fellow Eastern Conference contenders Philadelphia.
The Bucks, who fell at the first hurdle in last season’s playoffs, travelled to the ‘City of Brotherly Love’ for their opening game on Wednesday night and came away with a 124-109 victory.
They had gone into that matchup on the back of a pre-season campaign that saw them lose three of their four games.
Milwaukee opened up pre-season with a 120-87 loss in Detroit, before returning home for a 107-102 loss to the Los Angeles Lakers.
The Bucks avoided a third straight loss as they beat Chicago 111-107, but they did end pre-season with a defeat as they lost 109-84 in Dallas.
