They blew a 15-point half-time lead to trail by six heading into the final period, but they out-scored the Warriors 28-18 in the final 12 minutes to clinch a 108-104 win.
Devin Booker led the way with 32 points, eight assists and six total rebounds, while Kevin Durant notched a double double with 18 points and 11 boards.
Jusuf Nrkic also delivered in his debut for the Suns, notching 14 points and 14 rebounds in a double double of his own.
