Duke are backed to cover the spread as they advance to the National Championship Game.

The Blue Devils have been on a tremendous run and in Cooper Flagg they have the best player in college basketball.

They also have a size advantage and the depth to end the Cougars’ long-running win streak.

  • Duke are 31-1 in their last 32 games
  • Duke are 11-3-0 ATS in their previous 14 games
  • Houston are 4-4-2 ATS in their last 10 games
  • The Over has cashed in 10 of Duke’s last 14 games

Head To Head

  • Duke lead the all-time series 1-0
  • Duke won 54-51 when the two teams last met in March 2024

Duke Form

Duke enter this Final Four matchup on a dominant run of form, having won each of their previous 15 games.

The Blue Devils have not lost since February 8, when they were beaten 77-71 at Clemson, and they responded to that loss by closing out the regular season with eight straight wins.

They kept that red-hot run going as they won the ACC tournament, beating Georgia Tech 78-70, North Carolina 74-71 and Louisville 73-62.

Duke then began their quest for the national crown with a couple of blowout victories, beating Mount St Mary’s 93-49 and Baylor 89-66.

The Blue Devils followed that up by beating Arizona 100-93 in the Sweet 16, before advancing to the Final Four with an 85-65 victory over Alabama.

Houston Form

Houston go into this Final Four showdown on an even better win streak than Duke, having won their last 17 games.

The Cougars’ last defeat was an 82-81 overtime loss to Texas Tech on February 1, and they rebounded from that by ending the regular season with a 10-game tear.

They took that streak to 13 games as they claimed the Big 12 tournament, beating Colorado 77-68, BYU 74-54 and Arizona 72-64.

Houston cruised through the first round of March Madness, beating SIU Edwardsville 78-40, and then downed Gonzaga in the second round, 81-76.

The Cougars fended off Purdue to win their Sweet 16 clash 62-60, before booking their place in the Final Four with a 69-50 victory over Tennessee in the Elite Eight.
