UConn enter this Final Four matchup on an outstanding run of form, having now won 25 of their last 26 games.
The Huskies have not tasted defeat since they were beaten 85-66 at Creighton back on February 20.
They responded to that loss with a four-game win streak to close out the regular season, and then marched to the Big East tournament title, beating Xavier 87-60, St John’s (NY) 95-90 and Marquette 74-57.
UConn’s dominant run has continued at March Madness, as they have reeled off four dominant victories to make it to the Final Four.
The Huskies opened with a 91-52 blowout of Stetson, before ruthlessly knocking out Northwestern, 75-58, San Diego State, 82-52, and Illinois, 77-52.
