Arizona go into this division clash in desperate need of a win after falling to 1-3 through four weeks.
The Cardinals opened up the season on the road and pushed hosts Buffalo to the very end as they lost 34-28.
They bounced back a week later in their home opener, blowing out the Los Angeles Rams 41-10, but it has all been downhill since then despite them playing two more games at home.
Arizona fell below .500 once again as they suffered a 20-13 defeat at the hands of Detroit in Week 3.
The Cardinals then suffered their first blowout defeat of the season as they were beaten 42-14 at home by Washington.
San Francisco 49ers Form
San Francisco come into this matchup looking to build on last week’s victory which took them back to .500.
The 49ers kicked off the 2024 regular season at home and spoiled Aaron Rodgers’ return to action with a 32-19 victory over the New York Jets.
They failed to back that up a week later though, as they went out on the road and lost 23-17 to Minnesota.
That became back-to-back road defeats in Week 3 as San Francisco blew a 14-point lead to lose to division rivals, the Los Angeles Rams, 27-24.
The 49ers got back on track in Week 4 though, as they returned home to take down New England, 30-13.
