Cincinnati head to Los Angeles on the back of their sixth defeat of the season, which has left them with a 4-6 record.
The Bengals opened the season with three consecutive defeats, before finally getting off the mark with a 34-24 victory in Carolina.
They failed to follow that up as they lost 41-38 in overtime against Baltimore, but they did rebound quickly with a couple of road wins, beating the New York Giants 17-7 and Cleveland 21-14.
Cincinnati were unable to make it three-in-a-row as they were beaten 37-17 at home by Philadelphia, only to replay to that loss with a 41-24 victory over Las Vegas.
The Bengals returned to losing ways last week though, as they lost a thriller at division rivals Baltimore, 35-34.
Los Angeles Chargers Form
Los Angeles go into this Sunday Night Football showdown looking to extend a three-game win streak that has improved them to 6-3.
The Chargers opened with back-to-back wins, but quickly dropped to .500 as they were beaten over the next two weeks.
They avoided a third straight defeat, winning 23-16 in Denver, only to immediately return to losing ways with a 17-15 loss in Arizona.
Los Angeles have not tasted defeat since then however, as they rebounded with a 26-8 win over New Orleans.
The Chargers then ran out 27-10 winners in Cleveland, before returning home to beat Tennessee 27-17 last weekend.
