The Dolphins opened the season with back-to-back road games and made a perfect start, beating the Los Angeles Chargers 36-34 and New England 24-17.
They then made it three-in-a-row with one of the most dominant wins the NFL has ever seen – a 70-20 demolition of Denver.
Miami were brought back down to Earth by a 48-20 loss at Buffalo a week later, but they bounced back swiftly to beat the New York Giants 31-17 and Carolina 42-21.
The Dolphins then fell to a 31-17 defeat at Philadelphia, only to rebound last weekend with a 31-17 home win against New England.

Kansas City head to Germany on the back of a disappointing road loss, but with a solid 6-2 record.
The Chiefs mis-fired on opening night as they suffered a surprise 21-20 home defeat to Detroit at Arrowhead.
They got off the mark a week later though, wining 17-9 at Jacksonville, and then followed that up with a 41-10 blowout of Chicago.
Kansas City continued to stack up wins as they beat the New York Jets 23-20 and Minnesota 27-20 on the road, before returning home to down Denver 19-8.
The Chiefs then beaten another division rival in the Los Angeles Chargers, 31-17, only to suffer a shock 24-9 defeat in Denver last weekend.
