Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills Preview & Picks – Allen Status To Decide Outcome Of NFL Clash

Minnesota Vikings at Buffalo Bills Preview & Picks

This prediction is dependent on whether or not Josh Allen plays.

Allen has been missing from practice with an elbow injury and is trending towards not playing here.

That would swing the game massively in Minnesota’s favor, so if Allen sits out we back the Vikings.

  • Minnesota Vikings are on a 6-game win streak
  • Minnesota Vikings are 1-0-0 ATS in non-conference games
  • The Under has hit in 3 of Minnesota’s 4 road games
  • The Under has cashed in 7 of Buffalo’s 8 games so far

Head To Head

  • Minnesota Vikings lead the all-time series 8-6
  • Buffalo Bills won 27-6 when the teams last met in September 2018

Minnesota Vikings Form

Minnesota have taken control of the NFC North by winning seven of their eight games this season.

The Vikings opened with a 23-7 win against Green Bay, but failed to start a streak as they lost 24-7 in Philadelphia a week later.

However, they bounced back immediately with a 28-24 win against Detroit, and that proved to be the start of a long winning run.

Minnesota backed up that win by sandwiching a 29-22 home win against Chicago with road wins at New Orleans (28-25) and Miami (24-16) before the bye.

The Vikings then extended their streak after returning from their mid-season break, winning two more games to make it seven-in-a-row.

They beat Arizona 34-26 at home before heading out on the road to down Washington 20-17.

Buffalo Bills Form

Buffalo are looking to bounce back from a surprise defeat last weekend that saw them drop to 6-2.

The Bills sent a message early in the season as they downed the defending champion Los Angeles Rams on the road, 31-10, in the opener.

They then blew out Tennessee at home, 41-7, only to suffer a surprise 21-19 defeat in Miami a week later.

Buffalo hit back immediately though as they won 23-20 in Baltimore, and then blew out Pittsburgh at home, 38-3, to build some momentum.

On the back of those wins the Bills recorded their biggest victory of the season in Week 6, downing Kansas City 24-20 on the road to go into the bye on a high.

They then followed that up with a 27-17 win against Green Bay when they returned to action.

However, they failed to make it five straight wins last weekend, losing 20-17 at the New York Jets in a game that also saw Josh Allen suffer an injury.
