New York Giants at Pittsburgh Steelers Preview & Picks

Pittsburgh are backed to cover as they win their third straight game.

The Steelers defense has been dominant this season and can shut down a bad New York offense.

  • New York Giants are 2-4-0 ATS this season
  • Pittsburgh Steelers are allowing 14.4 points per game (#2 in NFL)
  • New York Giants are averaging 14.1 points per game (30th in NFL)
  • The Under has cashed in 6 of New York’s 7 games so far

Head To Head

  • New York Giants lead the all-time series 44-31-3
  • Pittsburgh Steelers won 26-16 when the two teams last met in September 2020

New York Giants Form

New York head to Pittsburgh on the back of a couple of defeats that have left them with a 2-5 record.

The Giants opened the season with a 28-6 home defeat to Minnesota, before going out on the road to lose 21-18 at Washington.

They finally got off the mark in Week 3 with a 21-15 win in Cleveland, only to immediately return to losing ways with a 20-15 defeat to Dallas.

New York responded on the road, winning 29-20 in Seattle, but they have not managed another win since then.

The Giants have suffered back-to-back home defeats, losing 17-7 to Cincinnati and 28-3 to Philadelphia.

Pittsburgh Steelers Form

Pittsburgh go into this Monday night matchup having won back-to-back games to improve to 5-2.

The Steelers opened the season with Justin Fields at quarterback and reeled off three straight wins, starting with road wins over Atlanta, 18-10, and Denver, 13-6.

They then won their home opener against the Los Angeles Chargers, 20-10, only to see their perfect start end with a 27-24 loss in Indianapolis and a 20-17 defeat to Dallas.

Pittsburgh avoided a third straight defeat as they won 32-13 in Las Vegas, but that victory did not prevent Justin Fields from losing his starting spot to a fit-again Russell Wilson.

The former Seattle and Denver QB enjoyed a succesful debut as he left the Steelers to a 37-15 win over the New York Jets.
