Boston Bruins coach Jim Montgomery is odds-on to be named the NHL’s coach of the year and win the Jack Adams Trophy.
Montgomery’s Bruins have set the standard so far during the regular season, boasting the best record in the entire league.
They are just eight wins away from levelling their total of last season and are running away with the Atlantic Division, so it is no shock to see their boss heading up the Jack Adams Trophy betting.
Montgomery is 33/100 with Stake to become the fifth head coach in Boston Bruins history to land this honour.
His main rival in the betting is Seattle Kraken head coach Dave Hakstol, who has done a tremendous job this season.
The Kraken finished the 2021/22 season with a 27-49-6 record that saw them finish bottom of the Pacific Division, but the turnaround this season has been spectacular.
