Rising British star George Liddard (14-0) takes on Dario Morello (26-1) for the vacant European middleweight title at the Copper Box Arena in London, England on Saturday, August 22.

Liddard has established himself as one of the most exciting prospects in British boxing since entering the professional ranks in November 2022, rattling off 14 consecutive victories to start his career.
The 24-year-old middleweight claimed the British and Commonwealth titles last October as he knocked out Keiron Conway in the 10th round, and he enters this fight on the back of his biggest victory to date – a unanimous decision victory over Tyler Denny in March of this year.
That victory earned him the IBF intercontinental title, and he will now look to claim the European middleweight crown as he continues his climb into world title contention.
Looking to deny Liddard another championship is experienced Italian fighter Morello, who has won 26 of his 27 outings since embarking on a professional career in 2015.
The 33-year-old has won several minor titles while competing almost exclusively on home soil, and he will travel to London with his sights set on registering the biggest victory of his career so far.
