Moses Itauma (14-0, 12 KOs) and Filip Hrgovic (20-1, 15 KOs) will meet for the vacant IBF world heavyweight title at the O2 Arena in London, England on Saturday, August 29.
The fight can be exclusively seen globally in over 200 countries on DAZN PPV.
At just 21 years of age, and only 14 fights into his professional career, Itauma is bidding to become the second youngest heavyweight champion in the history of boxing – behind only Mike Tyson.
He has torn through the opposition so far, winning 12 of his 14 fights via knockout, and he enters this contest on the back of his two most notable wins to date – a first-round knockout of Dillian Whyte in August 2025 and a fifth-round stoppage of Jermaine Franklin back in March of this year.
Itauma now faces the biggest challenge of his career so far – a showdown with former Olympic bronze medallist Hrgovic.
The 34-year-old Croatian’s first attempt to become a world champion ended in failure when he was knocked out by Daniel Dubois back in June 2024, but he has rebounded from losing that fight for the interim IBF title.
He out-pointed Joe Joyce to issue an immediate response to the first loss of his career, and he has backed that up by out-pointing David Adeleye and knocking out David Allen in the third round.
But can Hrgovic now halt the rise of his opponent in London, or will Slovakian-born Itauma – now fighting out of England – make history by leaving the O2 Arena as heavyweight champion of the world?
