The LIV Golf returns to Trump National Golf Club with a world class field competing for the title in Virginia this weekend. Who will pocket the winner's cheque come Sunday?

Joaquin Niemann is back to defend his title after a one-stroke victory over Graeme McDowell and Anirban Lahiri in 2025.

Current top ten in the individual points standings after six rounds:

1. Jon Rahm 779.00 pts
2. Bryson DeChambeau 476.90 pts
3. Thomas Detry 251.90 pts
4. Elvis Smylie 251.04 pts
5. Anthony Kim 237.71 pts
6. David Puig 220.74 pts
7. Richard Lee 169.08 pts
8. Thomas Pieters 169.10 pts
9. Peter Uihlein 157.98 pts
10. Jose Ballester 146.72 pts

These are our four selections that could win the title this weekend.

Tyrrell Hatton

Tyrrell Hatton had a mediocre start to his season on the DP World Tour and LIV Golf League, finishing T33 at the Hero Dubai Desert Classic and T47 in Riyadh.

However, Hatton has been in solid form since those results, placing T3 in Adelaide, T45 in Hong Kong, T10 in Singapore, T38 in South Africa, T3 at the Masters, and T5  in Mexico City.

The eight-time DP World Tour winner finished T15 overall at LIV Golf Virginia last year.

Hatton can go all the way and secure the title at Trump National this Sunday.

Joaquin Niemann

Joaquin Niemann had a poor start to his season on the DP World Tour after missing the cut at the BMW Australian PGA Championship, the Crown Australian Open, and the Hero Dubai Desert Classic.

Niemann has shown improvement since returning to the LIV Golf League, placing T22 in Riyadh, T12 in Adelaide, T41 in Hong Kong, 4th in Singapore, T12 in South Africa, and T20 in Mexico City.

The seven-time LIV Golf winner won the inaugural LIV Golf Virginia tournament last year.

Niemann has been showing signs that he is ready to secure his first victory of the season.

Josele Ballester

Josele Ballester had an excellent beginning to his season on the DP World Tour, placing T10 at the BMW Australian PGA Championship and T6 at the Crown Australian Open, but his form dipped on his return to the LIV Golf League, finishing T27 in Riyadh, T32 in Adelaide, and T41 in Hong Kong.

However, Ballester has bounced back to form in his last four starts, placing T6 in Singapore, T12 in South Africa, 3rd in Mexico City, and T3 at the Singapore Open (Asian Tour)

The young Spaniard finished T50 at the 2025 LIV Golf Virginia event on debut.

Ballester is a contender to win the tournament at Trump National after recording two consecutive top three finishes.

Matthew Wolff

Matthew Wolff had mixed results in his opening two events on the LIV Golf Tour, finishing T51 in Riyadh and T14 in Adelaide.

Wolff has been in great touch since then, placing 5th in Hong Kong, T8 in Singapore, T53 in South Africa, and T5 in Mexico City

The American golfer will make his debut at LIV Golf Virginia this weekend.

Wolff has been in great touch lately and could walk away with the honours come Sunday.
