Medic signed with the UFC following a successful appearance on Dana White’s Contenders Series, and enjoyed a successful debut the following March as he knocked out Aaron Cruz in the first round.
He failed to follow that up in his next fight, as he was submitted in the first round by Jalin Turner, but he rebounded quickly from that setback, backing up a second-round knockout of Omar Morales with a third-round stoppage of Matthew Semelsberger.
His momentum stalled after that, as he sandwiched a 129-second knockout of Tim Means with a submission loss to Myktybek Orolbai and a KO defeat to Punahele Soriano, but the 33-year-old has been able to kick-start his climb over the past 12 months.
Medic got back to winning ways in August of last year as he knocked out Gilbert Urbina in 63 seconds, and in November he replicated that victory by taking out Muslim Salikhov with strikes in 1:03.
‘The Doctor’ then made it three-in-a-row back in February as he knocked out Geoff Neal in 79 seconds.

Rodriguez made his UFC debut in 2020, and he enjoyed a fast start to his career in the promotion as he reeled off three consecutive wins in the space of six months.
He tapped out Tim Means in his debut, and then followed that up by out-pointing Gabriel Green before knocking out Dwight Grant in the first round.
The 39-year-old American ended the year with a decision defeat to Nicolas Dalby, but rebounded strongly in 2021.
Rodriguez sandwiched a first-round knockout of Preston Parsons with unanimous decision wins against Mike Perry and Kevin Lee, and then made it four-in-a-row with a split decision success against Li Jingliang.
However, his form collapsed after that as a third-round submission loss to Neil Magny proved to be the start of a three-fight skid.
‘D-Rod’ was then knocked out by Ian Machado Garry in the first round, before dropping a unanimous decision to Kelvin Gastelum.
Rodriguez finally stopped the rot in October 2024 though, edging Alex Morono by split decision, and he has backed that up by knocking out Santiago Ponzinibbio and beating Kevin Holland by unanimous decision.
