Nakashima Makes Another Deep Masters Run
Brandon Nakashima continued his impressive run by defeating Taylor Fritz in three sets to reach the semifinals in Cincinnati, 7-6, 4-6, 6-3. He trailed by a break in the deciding set before winning four consecutive games to close out the match.
With this run, he has become the first player ranked outside the Top 20 to reach the semifinals in both the Canadian Open and Cincinnati in the same season since 1990.
The 25-year-old recently enjoyed a breakthrough Masters run by reaching the semifinal in Montreal. Before that campaign, he had never reached the quarterfinals at this level, and he has now added another deep run in Cincinnati.

Tiafoe's Cincinnati Run Brings Another Big Opportunity
