Duckworth Ends Long Wait for Back-to-Back Wins
James Duckworth moved into the next round in Winston-Salem after defeating Mariano Navone in straight sets, 6-3, 7-6. He trailed 1-4 in the second set and was even 2-5 down in the tiebreak before fighting back to win in straight sets.
This is his first run of back-to-back main-draw wins on tour since Almaty last year. He is now looking to reach his first quarterfinal of the season.
