Minnesota Lynx at Seattle Storm Predictions & Picks
Seattle will have another opportunity to snap their losing run, but facing the overall league leaders is a difficult task.
Minnesota are deserved favourites, although the spread looks a little generous based on recent meetings.
Minnesota Lynx Form
Minnesota Lynx have lived up to their billing as the leading title contenders in the 2026 WNBA season, winning 21 of their 27 games to sit at the top of the overall standings.
The Lynx began July with back-to-back defeats to New York Liberty and Connecticut Sun but responded in impressive fashion by putting together a five-game winning streak. During that run, they earned revenge victories over New York and Connecticut while also beating Phoenix Mercury, Los Angeles Sparks and Portland Fire.
Minnesota were back in action yesterday, edging Seattle Storm 105-102 in one of the most entertaining games of the season. Excellent free-throw shooting (21-of-22) and just nine turnovers proved decisive in securing another victory.
Seattle Storm Form
Seattle Storm have endured a disappointing 2026 campaign, with their playoff hopes hanging by a thread after managing just six wins from 28 games.
Their only victory this month came against Los Angeles Sparks (82-64) on 7 July before the Storm slipped to four consecutive defeats against Atlanta Dream (89-78), Washington Mystics (84-79), Chicago Sky (95-90) and Indiana Fever (110-107).
Seattle came close to ending that run last night but narrowly fell 105-102 to Minnesota. Flau'jae Johnson starred with 26 points, while Natisha Hiedeman contributed a double-double with 12 points and 10 assists.
