FanDuel Review

FanDuel is active in 44 states as a Daily Fantasy Sports (DFS) operator. In May 2018 European online sportsbook giant Paddy Power Betfair bought the company.

Under its new owner FanDuel immediately extended its brand to cover online sports betting and applied for a New Jersey licence. FanDuel now runs the physical sportsbook at the Meadowlands Racetrack and launched its online sports betting app in August 2018.

FanDuel is new to sports betting, so it tries to differentiate itself from the older brands in the market. New bettors at FanDuel are offered a risk-free bet of up to $500.

In-game betting describes bets made after a game has started. It is also called live betting or in-play betting. In-game betting allows you to wager on which team will win even after a game has started, or you can bet on other events that might happen during the game.

In-game betting has become the most popular form of sports betting and operators are continually adding new options. Typical bets would be on the score at the end of the next quarter, or on which player will score next, or even whether the game will go into extra time.

When you start your FanDuel account, you are immediately enrolled in the FanDuel Players Club which offers a range of VIP rewards.

Some sites only allow sign-ups through the desktop app, but FanDuel’s mobile sportsbook permits direct sign-ups through the app.
