Cincinnati vs Queretaro Preview & Picks

FC Cincinnati arrive for their Leagues Cup campaign looking to end a run of three defeats in a row.

Queretaro were beaten 1-0 by New York City in their opening Leagues Cup match meaning they have to win this game.

  • Cincinnati have won 10 of their last 15 matches
  • Queretaro were beaten to nil by New York City in their last game
  • Queretaro have lost their last six games

Head-To-Head

This will be the first time the two sides have played a competitive match against each-other.

Cincinnati Form

FC Cincinnati may come into this one on the back of a poor run of three defeats, but they are still enjoying a fantastic season in the MLS.

25 matches have culminated in 15 wins, three draws and seven defeats, with the side sitting in second in the Eastern Conference. While they have struggled of late in the league, their Leagues Cup campaign could be the perfect way for them to get back to winning ways.

With their opponents beaten to nil in their opening game, Cincinnati will likely look to keep things tight at the back as they try to ease to a morale-boosting win.

Queretaro Form

It was not the ideal start to Queretaro's Leagues Cup campaign against New York City as they were beaten by a single goal.

This loss extended their winless run to nine matches, with this spanning across almost four months. Clearly, things are not clicking for the side as they have found goals and points very tough to come by.

While Cincinnati also arrive on the back of their own poor run, they should have far too much for a side that is really struggling on the pitch at the moment.
