Inter Miami vs Chicago Preview & Picks

Inter Miami were able to secure all three points in their last match as they downed Toronto in a 3-1 win at home.

Chicago stunned Cincinnati in a 1-0 away win in midweek as they did Miami a big favour, beating their closest rivals in the Eastern Conference.

  • Miami have won their last two home matches
  • Chicago have lost three of their last four on the road
  • Luis Suarez has netted 12 goals for Inter this term

Head-To-Head

The pair have met six times in total, with Chicago securing four wins, Inter winning once and one game ending as a draw.

Inter Miami Form

Inter Miami were able to move back to the top of the Eastern Conference as they beat Toronto and Cincinnati were beaten by Chicago.

This win allowed them to bounce back from their stunning 6-1 loss to Cincinnati in their last match, with this ending their four-game winning run.

Now, with a win over Toronto meaning they arrive with momentum, we are backing Miami to make it two wins on the bounce and do all they can to extend their lead at the top of the Eastern Conference.

Chicago Form

Chicago managed to end a run of two without a win as they secured one of the results of the season in a 1-0 win over Cincinnati away from home.

Despite this win, Chicago have struggled in the MLS this term. They sit in 13th in the Eastern Conference, two points short of Montreal in ninth. While a playoff spot is still within reach, they need to start picking up points consistently.

Despite their need for points, we are not backing them to win this one. Their away record has seen them lose six of their 12 on the road, and we can only see another defeat for them this weekend.
