Mexico continue their post-World Cup rebuild after a well-deserved 1-1 draw against Colombia in Rafa Marquez’s first match in charge.

Peru come into the second of three scheduled international friendlies after a disappointing 4-1 defeat against USA in Orlando on Saturday.

Malik Tillman restored the advantage from the spot before Julian Hall and Sebastian Berhalter secured a dominant win for the Stars and Stripes.
Peru struggled to contain the US attack, with the hosts good value for their comfortable win. Pochettino’s side had 70% of possession and more than three times as many shots (16-5), while Peru managed only two efforts on target.
La Blanquirroja have now lost five of nine international friendlies in the past 12 months. Mano Menezes’s men conceded 17 goals in those fixtures, including at least two in all five defeats.
A dismal road record in South American World Cup qualifiers offers little encouragement for the out-of-form visitors. Peru lost seven of nine away games, picking up two points while failing to score in all nine matches.
