Puebla vs Inter Miami Preview & Picks

Puebla were beaten in their last outing as they fell to a 2-1 loss to Atlas mere days ago to make it three without a win.

Inter Miami beat Chicago Fire 2-1 in their last match as they made it two consecutive wins in the league.

  • Puebla have lost two of their last three matches
  • Inter have won their last two games
  • Inter have seen both teams score in their last 10 matches

Head-To-Head

This will be the first time the two sides have played in a competitive match.

Puebla Form

Puebla have been enduring a tough start to the new season with a single win coming alongside one draw and two defeats.

Worrying for Puebla is the fact their win came in their opening game, meaning they are now winless in their last three, scoring five times in four matches and conceding eight goals.

In what is a tough group that also includes Tigres UNAL, getting off to a winning start is vital. However, despite predicting they will breach Miami's defence, this one will likely end in defeat to a better side.

Inter Miami Form

Inter Miami have been very impressive this season, and they currently sit at the top of the Eastern Conference in the MLS with 16 wins in 25 matches.

Their two-game winning run features victories over Toronto (3-1) and Chicago (2-1), while they have won six of their last seven games in the league. With the exception of a stunning 6-1 loss to Cincinnati earlier in July, Inter have looked very good.

Whether Lionel Messi plays or not could prove inconsequential as the side have impressed without him. With this in mind, the MLS side should prove too strong for their opponents.
