Zverev Continues Strong Masters Run
Alexander Zverev secured his place in the semifinals with a 7-5, 6-7, 6-3 win over Joao Fonseca. He had chances to close the match in straight sets but was forced into a decider.
This is his fourth consecutive Masters semifinal, following runs in Paris 2025, Indian Wells, and Miami. Notably, all three previous semifinal losses came against Jannik Sinner, whom he is set to face again.

Sinner Extends Dominant Run Further
Jannik Sinner moved into the semifinal with a comfortable 6-3, 6-4 win over Felix Auger-Aliassime. It was a much smoother performance compared to his previous match against Tomas Machac.
This marks his third consecutive semifinal appearance in Monte Carlo. He lost at this stage to Holger Rune in 2023 and Stefanos Tsitsipas in 2024.
