Valentin Royer Looks To Recreate Last Year’s Run
Valentin Royer registered a straight-set win over Adam Walton to reach the second round in Hangzhou, winning 6-3, 6-4. He served 14 aces and saved all four break points he faced during the match.
Last year, during his debut here, he reached the final after defeating Learner Tien and Andrey Rublev. That remains the only time he has won multiple main-draw matches on tour.
