The Tiger Cats got off to a decent start as they won two of their first three games, and at the midway point in July they were still in the mix at 3-3.
However, the postseason hopes were then dealt a blow as they lost three straight, sandwiching a 44-20 home loss to Calgary with road defeats to Montreal, 31-19, and BC, 27-24.
Hamilton avoided a fourth straight loss, upsetting Saskatchewan 26-19 on August 15, but they have not won since.
The Tiger-Cats have lost 39-20 in Toronto, 28-23 at Calgary, 37-22 at home to Toronto and 37-25 at home to Montreal.

Edmonton enter this matchup on the back of a loss, but boasting one of the league’s best records at 10-4.
The Elks opened the campaign by winning six of their first seven games, before experiencing a dip at the start of August.
They lost 28-26 to Saskatchewan and 48-30 to Montreal, but rebounded in impressive fashion with a four-game win streak.
Edmonton beat Toronto 42-12 and Winnipeg 22-19, before winning back-to-back meetings with Calgary, 38-28 on the road and 53-16 at home.
The Elks were unable to make it five wins in a row, as they were beaten 24-19 in Toronto last weekend.
