Saskatchewan return from the bye week in desperate need of a victory, having gone seven games without a win.
The Roughriders raced out of the blocks as they won five of their first six games, but their form has collapsed since then.
This skid started with a 20-16 defeat in Montreal and they then lost 42-31 at home to Edmonton before playing out a 22-22 tie in Ottawa.
Saskatchewan’ winless run continued with a 27-25 loss at home to Montreal, and they then went into back-to-back meetings with Winnipeg on the back of a 20-19 defeat in Toronto.
The Roughriders lost both games against the Blue Bombers, 35-33 at home and 26-21 on the road, to go into their second bye week of the season at 5-7-1.
Calgary Stampeders Form
Calgary come into this matchup having ended a four-game losing skid last time out, but they have now gone five games without a win.
The Stampeders struggled for consistency during the first couple of months of the season as they went 4-4 over their first eight games.
They did upset Toronto at home in early August, 27-23, only to then lose to the Argonauts on the road a week later, 39-25.
That sparked a four-game skid for Calgary that saw them lose 31-29 to Ottawa and 35-20 to Edmonton at home, before heading out on the road to lose 37-16 to the Elks.
The Stampeders did avoid a fifth consecutive defeat last weekend, although they had to settle for a 19-19 tie with Montreal to do it.
