Jared Cannonier is the #5 ranked middleweight fighter with a professional record of 17-7 (10 KOs, 2 Subs).
Cannonier debuted in the UFC back in January 2015 and endured mixed fortunes over the first few years, going 3-4 in his first seven fights.

His big chance ended in failure though, as he lost to ‘The Last Stylebender’ via unanimous decision.
The 40-year-old American bounced back with a split decision win over Sean Strickland, and in his sole outing of 2023 he bested Marvin Vettori via unanimous decision.
Cannonier failed to make it three wins in a row though, starting 2024 with a fourth-round knockout loss to Nassourdine Imavov.

Caio Borralho is the #12 ranked middleweight contender with a career record of 16-1 (5 KOs, 4 Subs) and 1 No Contest.
Borralho spent the early years of his career fighting in his native Brazil, before making two appearances on Dana White’s Contender Series in 2021.
He beat Aaron Jeffery via unanimous decision in his first outing on that show, and a month later he stopped Jesse Murray with strikes in the first round.
That earned ‘The Natural’ a UFC contract and he made his debut in April 2022, beating Gadzhi Omargadzhiev by technical decision.
Borralho backed that up with couple of unanimous decision wins, beating Armen Petrosyan and Makhmud Muradov, before scoring a second-round submission of Michal Oleksiejczuk.
The 31-year-old Brazilian then claimed a points win over Abus Magomedov last November, before kicking off his 2024 campaign with a second-round knockout of Paul Craig.

Caio Borralho showcased some stopping power last time out, but this likely to be all about the grind.
