Buffalo have lost five of their last eight games to fall to 6-6 – three games behind Miami in the AFC East.
The Bills rebounded from an opening-night defeat with three straight wins, but they have struggled for form since the 25-20 defeat to Jacksonville in London.
They edged New York a week later 14-9, and then had to rebound from a 29-25 defeat at New England with a 24-18 victory over Tampa Bay.
Buffalo failed to build on that victory though, as they lost 24-18 in Cincinnati and 24-22 at home to Denver.
The Bills avoided a third straight loss as they blew out the New York Jets, 32-6, but they again failed to string together wins as they blew a late lead to lose 37-34 in overtime in Philadelphia.
Kansas City Chiefs Form
Kansas City come into this game having won just two of their last five to fall to 8-4 on the season.
The Chiefs lost to Detroit on opening night, but came storming back to win each of their next six games.
The offense rarely fired though, and in Week 8 they were held to a season-low nine points as they were beaten 24-9 in Denver.
Kansas City rebounded with a 21-14 win over Miami in Germany, but they failed to back that up when they returned home to lose 21-17 to Philadelphia in a rematch from last season’s Super Bowl.
The Chiefs responded with a 31-17 win in Las Vegas, only to suffer a 27-19 defeat when the visited Green Bay last time out.
Verdict
These were two of the favourites to win it all in the off-season, but both have underwhelmed.
Kansas City’s defense has really stepped up though, and this Buffalo team has not travelled well, so we are backing the Chiefs to get the job done.
