Tony Finau
Tony Finau has been playing well on the PGA Tour since mid-May, placing T18 at the PGA Championship, T17 at the Charles Schwab Challenge, T8 at the Memorial Tournament, T3 at the U.S. Open and T5 at the Travelers Championship before missing the cut at the Open Championship last weekend.
Other notable results achieved by Finau during 2024 include finishing T25 at the American Express, T6 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T19 at the Genesis Invitational, T13 at the Mexico Open, T2 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, T55 at the Masters and T12 at the RBC Heritage.
The world's 19th-ranked golfer has compiled an impressive record at TPC Twin Cities, with results of T23 in 2019, T3 in 2020, T28 in 2021, victory in 2022 and T7 in 2023.
Finau has been in top form and will fancy his chances to become the first two-time winner of the 3M Open this weekend.
Sam Burns
Sam Burns has been in solid form on the PGA Tour since mid-May, placing T13 at the Wells Fargo Championship, MC at the PGA Championship, T10 at the RBC Canadian Open, T15 at the Memorial Tournament, T9 at the U.S. Open, T55 at the Travelers Championship.
He finished T31 at the recent 152nd Open Championship after being in contention to win going into the final round.
Other noteworthy results achieved by Burns this year include placing T6 at the American Express, 10th at the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, T3 at the WM Phoenix Open and T10 at the Genesis Invitational.
The five-time PGA Tour winner has made two appearances at the 3M Open, with results of T7 in 2019 and T32 in 2020.
Burns has yet to win a tournament this season but will have a chance of victory at TPC Twin Cities if he can replicate his recent displays.
Akshay Bhatia
Akshay Bhatia has been in great touch on the PGA Tour lately, placing T22 at the Memorial Tournament, T16 at the U.S. Open, T5 at the Travelers Championship, and T2 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic before missing the cut at the Open Championship last weekend.
Other prominent performances achieved by Bhatia this season include finishing T14 at the Sentry, T13 at the Sony Open in Hawaii, T13 at the Farmers Insurance Open, T17 at the Valspar Championship, T11 at the Texas Children's Houston Open, victory at the Valero Texas Open, and T18 at the RBC Heritage.
The 22-year-old American golfer is debuting at TPC Twin Cities this weekend.
Bhatia has continued to climb in the world rankings this year and has the form to win the 3M Open.
Ben Griffin
Ben Griffin was in decent nick on the PGA Tour towards the end of April, placing T14 at the Corales Puntacana Championship, MC at the Zurich Classic of New Orleans, T13 at the CJ CUP Byron Nelson and T16 at the Myrtle Beach Classic.
Grifin withdrew at the PGA Championship, MC at the Charles Schwab Challenge and then finished 2nd at the RBC Canadian Open.
Griffin's form has been wayward lately, with results of MC at the Memorial Tournament, 67th at the Travelers Championship, T31 at the Rocket Mortgage Classic, T5 at the John Deere Classic, T39 at the Genesis Scottish Open and MC at the Open Championship last weekend.
Additional highlights from Griffin's year include finishing T9 at the American Express, T28 at the WM Phoenix Open and T17 at the Valspar Championship.
The 28-year-old American has featured once at the 3M Open, placing T20 overall in 2023.
Griffin has been thereabouts this season and offers an excellent each-way bet in Minnesota.
