Clemson head to Florida having bounced back from a rough season-opener with three consecutive victories.
The Tigers could not have asked for a much tougher start than a trip to Atlanta to face Georgia, and they put up just one field goal as they were beaten 34-3 by the Bulldogs.
They put that behind them a week later though, as they blew out Appalachian State, 66-20, in their final non-conference game before starting their ACC schedule.
Clemson backed up that victory, as they kicked off their conference campaign with a 59-35 victory over NC State.
The Tigers then made it back-to-back conference victories a week ago as they hosted Stanford and ran out 40-14 winners.
Florida State Form
Florida State head into this matchup in desperate need of a victory, having lost four of their first five games.
The Seminoles began the season ranked in the top 10, but suffered a shock opening-day defeat as they were beaten 24-21 by Georgia Tech in Dublin, Ireland.
They then fell to 0-2 in conference play a week later when they returned home for a 28-13 defeat at the hands of Boston College.
Florida State’s crisis continued with a 20-12 loss to Memphis in a non-conference game, but they finally got off the mark a week later as they edged California, 14-9.
The Seminoles failed to build on that win however, as they went out on the road and were blown out by SMU, 42-16.
