The Volunteers opened the season at home to Chattanooga and gave up just one field goal as they charged to a 69-3 victory.
They backed that up a week later when they took on ranked NC State at a neutral venue, winning the matchup 51-10.
Tennessee returned home after that victory, and not only did they record a season-high points total, they also shut out their opponents as they beat Kent State 71-0.
That gave the Volunteers a perfect record to take into their conference opener, and they maintained that unbeaten standard with a 25-15 win over ranked Oklahoma.
Arkansas Form
Arkansas return home on the back of a defeat to ranked Texas A&M that has left them with a 3-2 record.
The Razorbacks kicked off the campaign with a shutout victory, beating Arkansas Pine-Bluff 70-0 at home.
They then went out on the road to lose a thriller with Oklahoma State, 39-31, only to bounce back with a 37-27 victory when they hosted UAB.
Arkansas followed that up a week later when they went out on the road to beat Auburn 24-14.
The Razorbacks failed to make it three wins in a row though, as they were beaten 22-17 by Texas A&M last time out.
