The Buckeyes opened the season with a string of one-sided wins, starting with a 52-6 victory over Akron.
They then shutout Western Michigan in a 56-0 win, before beating Marshall 49-14, Michigan State 38-7 and Iowa 35-7.
Ohio State’s perfect start was finally ended by a narrow 32-31 defeat when they visited Big Ten newcomers Oregon, but they bounced back immediately.
It was a grind, but the Buckeyes took their record to 6-1 with a 21-17 win over Nebraska last weekend.
Penn State Form
Penn State return home still boasting a perfect record, having registered their seventh win of the season last weekend.
The Nittany Lions opened up with a 34-12 win at West Virginia, before downing Bowling Green 34-27 in their home opener.
They then shut out Kent State in a 56-0 victory, before downing Illinois and UCLA at home, 21-7 and 27-11.
Penn State then went back out on the road after that and kept their perfect start going with a couple of wins.
The Nittany Lions won 33-30 when they visited USC, and they then followed that up with a 28-13 victory in Wisconsin.
