The Longhorns began their season with several blowout wins to go into their SEC campaign boasting a perfect 4-0 record.
They made an ideal start to their conference schedule too as they beat Mississippi State 35-13 before blowing out Oklahoma, 34-3.
Texas’ flying start put them top of the AP rankings, but they surrender that spot in the middle of October as they were beaten 30-15 at home Georgia.
The Longhorns then scraped a 27-24 victory at Vanderbilt, before blowing out Florida at home last weekend, 49-17.
Arkansas Form
Arkansas go into this game on the back of a blowout loss, but they do sit with a winning record at 5-4.
The Razorbacks won two of their opening three games and then made a winning start to their SEC schedule as they beat Auburn on the road, 24-14.
They failed to build on that a week later, losing 21-17 to Texas A&M, only to respond in stunning fashion as they knocked off Tennessee 19-14.
Arkansas failed to repeat that feat a week later as they lost 34-10 at home to LSU, but they did bounce back immediately to win 58-25 at Mississippi State.
The Razorbacks’ joy was short-lived however, as they suffered a 63-31 defeat at the hands of Ole Miss last time out.
