The Utes kicked off the season with a 24-11 win over Florida, sparking a four-game win streak that saw them beat Baylor 20-13, Weber State 31-7 and #22 UCLA 14-7.
Their run was halted by a 21-7 loss at #19 Oregon State, but they rebounded quickly to beat California 34-14.
Utah then edged #18 USC, 34-32, only to suffer a 35-6 blowout defeat when they hosted Oregon a week later.
The Utes issued an immediate response though, rolling over Arizona State in a 55-3 home win last weekend.

Washington continue to boast a flawless 9-0 record that has them in the hunt for the College Football Playoffs.
The Huskies kicked things off with three non-conference wins, beating Boise State 56-19 and Tulsa 43-10 at home, before heading to Michigan State for a 41-7 victory.
They opened their Pac-12 schedule with a 59-32 win against California, and then downed Arizona 31-24 on the road to go into the meeting with #8 Oregon in great form.
Washington took that meeting, 36-33, and kept the wins coming as they edged Arizona State 15-7 at home and won 42-33 at Stanford.
The Huskies then made it nine-in-a-row last weekend, winning a shootout with #24 USC, 52-42, on the road.
