Chicago Bears at Los Angeles Chargers Preview & Picks

Chicago are tipped to cover in a losing effort at SoFi Stadium.

Los Angeles are spluttering offensively but do have a tough defense that can get them over the line.

However, the Bears defense continues to improve and the offense was efficient with Tyson Bagent at QB last weekend.

  • Los Angeles Chargers are 2-4-0 ATS this season
  • Los Angeles are yet to win by more than 7 points
  • Chicago Bears are 2-1-0 ATS in their last 3 games
  • The Under has cashed in each of LA’s last 4 games

Head To Head

  • Chicago Bears lead the all-time series 7-6
  • Los Angeles Chargers won 17-16 when the two teams last met in October 2019

Chicago Bears Form

Chicago go into this Sunday Night Football matchup on the back of a big win that improved them to 2-5.

The Bears made a nightmare start to the season as they were beaten at home by bitter rivals Green Bay, 38-20.

They then lost 27-17 in Tampa Bay and 41-10 at Kansas City, before a late collapse condemned them to a 31-28 home defeat that left them in crisis.

Chicago responded with a 40-20 win at Washington to finally get off the mark, but they failed to build on that as they then lost 19-13 at home to Minnesota.

The Bears bounced back last weekend though, producing an impressive performance as rookie QB Tyson Bagent led them to a 30-12 victory over Las Vegas.

Los Angeles Chargers Form

Los Angeles come into this game in need of a victory, having lost their last two games to fall to 2-4.

The Chargers opened up with a 36-34 home defeat to Miami, and then lost 27-24 in overtime in Tennessee.

They finally got off the mark in Week 3 with a 28-24 victory in Minnesota, and they followed that up with a 24-17 success against Las Vegas.

Los Angeles have stalled since then though, heaping pressure on under-fire head coach Brandon Staley.

The Chargers were beaten 20-17 at home by Dallas, and then travelled to Kansas City for a 31-17 defeat to the Chiefs.
