Denver Broncos at Houston Texans Preview & Picks

Houston are backed to win but fail to cover the spread.

While the Texans have impressed this season, they have been in a bunch of close games and this Denver team is riding a wave of momentum.

  • Houston Texans are 1-4-0 ATS in their last 5 games
  • 5 of Houston’s last 7 games have been settled by 3 points or less
  • Denver Broncos are 4-1-0 ATS in their last 5 games
  • The Under has cashed in 6 of Houston’s last 8 games

Head To Head

  • Denver Broncos lead the all-time series 6-3
  • Denver Broncos won 16-9 when the two teams last met in September 2022

Denver Broncos Form

Denver head to Houston in red-hot form, having won five straight games to get back into playoff contention at 6-5.

The Broncos lost their first three games of the season, before finally getting off the mark with a 31-28 comeback win in Chicago.

They failed to follow that up as they were beaten 31-21 by the New York Jets and 19-8 at Kansas City, but they have not lost since then.

Denver kick-started their season with a 19-17 win over Green Bay, and backed that up with a massive 24-9 victory at home to Kansas City.

The Broncos then upset Buffalo 24-22 on the road, before returning home to beat Minnesota 21-20 and Cleveland 29-12.

Houston Texans Form

Houston come into this matchup on the back of a loss, but they have been in good form since late September and are 6-5 on the season.

The Texans went 3-3 through their first six games, but have found some momentum since the 15-13 loss in Carolina at the end of October.

They bounced back from that loss with a 39-37 victory at home to Tampa Bay, and then went out on the road to beat Cincinnati 30-27.

Houston made it three consecutive wins when they returned home to beat Arizona 21-16, although they failed to make it four-in-a-row.

The Texans suffered a heart-breaking home defeat to division rivals Jacksonville, losing 24-21 last weekend.
