Minnesota Vikings at Los Angeles Rams Preview & Picks

Los Angeles are backed to win as a slight underdog in Arizona.

The Rams can lean on Kyren Williams against a Vikings defense that has had some issues with the run game this season.

And on the opposite side of the football, Detroit just gave LA the blueprint to slowing down Sam Darnold & Co.

  • Los Angeles Rams are 5-1 in their last 6 games
  • Los Angeles beat Minnesota by 10 points back in October
  • The Under has cashed in 3 of Los Angeles’ last 4 games
  • The Under has hit in 3 of Minnesota’s last 5 road games

Head To Head

  • Minnesota Vikings lead the all-time series 27-19-2
  • Los Angeles Rams won 30-20 when the two teams last met on October 24

Minnesota Vikings Form

Minnesota go out on the road having missed out on the number one seeding with a brutal loss last weekend.

The Vikings opened the season with five straight victories, only to cool off on the second half of October as they lost back-to-back games.

They were beaten 31-29 at home by division rivals Detroit, before heading out on the road for a 30-20 loss to playoff opponents, the Los Angeles Rams.

Minnesota rebounded emphatically though, reeling off nine consecutive victories to give themselves a shot at winning the NFC North and claiming home field advantage last Sunday.

The Vikings came up short though, as they suffered a brutal 31-9 loss at the hands of Detroit.

Los Angeles Rams Form

Los Angeles overcame a slow start to the season to book their place in the postseason thanks to a 10-7 record.

The Rams lost four of their first five games of the campaign, but as they got healthy again their form improved.

They won their final two games in October, and went 2-2 in the month of November to stay in the mix in the NFC West.

Los Angeles then enjoyed their best run of the season in December as they won all five of their games to secure a place in the playoffs.

That gave the Rams the luxury of resting key players for their regular season finale, and that resulted in a 30-25 loss to Seattle.
