They failed to build on it though as they lost their home opener to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers, 20-10.
That was followed up by a 22-14 road defeat to Carolina, and their losing streak hit three games with a 28-25 loss at home to Minnesota.
New Orleans were able to snap their skid with a 39-32 win at home to Seattle, but their joy was short-lived.
The Saints gave up nine unanswered points inside the final four minutes to lose 30-26 at home to Cincinnati last weekend.
Arizona Cardinals Form
Arizona return home in desperate need of a victory, having gone just 2-4 through the first six weeks.
The Cardinals kicked off their season with a 44-21 defeat at home to Kansas City, but quickly rebounded in dramatic fashion.
They put up 16 unanswered points in the last eight minutes to force overtime in Las Vegas, and Byron Murphy then completed the comeback with a 59-yard fumble return to seal a 29-23 win.
Arizona have not enjoyed much success since that victory, however.
The Cardinals were beaten 20-12 at home by the Los Angeles Rams, before registering their second win of the season by winning 26-16 at Carolina.
They then fell to a 20-17 home defeat to Philadelphia, and that was followed up by their worst loss of the season so far.
Arizona’s offense completely stalled last weekend as they fell to a 19-9 defeat at Seattle.
