DC Defenders at Orlando Storm Predictions & Picks

Orlando are tipped to cover as they win their final regular season home game.

The Storm have rebounded from a couple of one-score losses, while the Defenders have just lost back-to-back games and will be without Jordan Ta’amu for the rest of the season.

  • Orlando Storm boast a league-best 6-2 record
  • DC Defenders have lost their previous 2 games
  • The Over has cashed in 3 of DC’s 4 previous road games
  • The Over has hit in each of Orlando’s last 2 games

Head To Head

  • This is the first ever meeting between the two teams

DC Defenders Form

DC head to Orlando looking to snap a two-game losing skid that has dropped them to 5-3.

The Defenders endured a losing start to their defence of the UFL crown, falling 16-10 in St Louis in Week 1, but they issued a strong reaction.

They got off the mark with a 44-26 victory in Columbus, and backed that up with a 45-7 blowout of Houston in their home opener.

DC then made it five wins in a row as they sandwiched a 45-28 victory in Birmingham with home wins against St Louis, 28-22, and Dallas, 24-6.

However, the Defenders’ form has nose-dived since then with back-to-back defeats to Louisville – 30-13 at home and 33-30 on the road.

Orlando Storm Form

Orlando go into their penultimate game of the regular season having already secured a playoff place with a 6-2 record.

The Storm were one of three teams to enter the UFL in the offseason, and they got off to a flying start as they beat fellow newcomers Columbus at home, 23-16.

They then won back-to-back meetings with the league’s other new boys, beating Louisville 19-9 at home and 29-27 in overtime on the road, before heading to Birmingham to down the Stallions, 16-0.

Orlando’s perfect run was halted a week later as they fell 25-17 at home to St Louis, and that was followed by a 20-17 loss when they hosted Birmingham.

The Storm rebounded on the road though, securing their place in the postseason by beating Houston, 24-23, and Dallas, 31-24.
