Louisville Kings Form

Louisville enter the playoffs in fantastic form, having won six of their final seven regular season games to book a trip to the postseason.

The Kings entered the league in the offseason, and made a rough start as they fell 15-13 to Birmingham, before losing back-to-back games with fellow newcomers Orlando, 19-9 on the road and 29-27 in overtime at home.

They finally got off the mark in Week 4 as they edged Houston in overtime on the road, 24-22, and they followed that up in Dallas a week later with a 47-25 victory.

Louisville failed to make it three-in-a-row as they lost 16-3 to St Louis, but they responded with back-to-back wins over defending champions DC, winning 30-13 on the road and 33-30 at home.

The Kings then closed out the regular season with a 37-23 victory against Dallas, and a 42-27 success at Columbus.

St Louis Battlehawks Form

St Louis come into the playoffs on the back of a defeat, but having finished second in the standings with a 6-4 record.

The Battlehawks kicked off the campaign with a 16-10 win over defending champions DC, and then bounced back from a 31-15 loss at Dallas with a 34-30 success against Birmingham.

That was followed by a 28-22 defeat in DC, but they responded with their best run of the season as they won road games in Orlando, 25-17, and Louisville, 16-3.

St Louis then made it three-in-a-row with a 31-20 victory over Columbus, only to fall 23-16 at home to Houston a week later.

The Battlehawks avenged that loss the following weekend as they beat the Gamblers on the road, 21-15, but they failed to make it back-to-back wins as they fell Dallas, 20-16, last time out.
