Arsenal vs Leeds Predictions
Arsenal and Leeds meet as Premier League action returns to the Emirates on Saturday.
The Gunners need a response after a heavy defeat at Brighton, while Leeds arrive in London unbeaten in their first five league fixtures.
I’m taking a chance on BTTS at a big price, while I also have Arsenal to claim a high-scoring win.
Leeds Can Test Gunners Defence
- Arsenal conceded 1+ goals in 3 of their last 5 matches
- Arsenal won 7 of their last 8 matches
- Arsenal have seen over 2.5 goals in 5 of their last 6 matches against Leeds
- Leeds have seen BTTS in 2 of their last 3 away matches against Arsenal
- Leeds have seen BTTS in 4 of their last 5 matches
Arsenal Dominate Recent H2H
Arsenal and Leeds have met on 10 occasions since 2020. Arsenal won nine of those one games while one match finished level.
The Gunners won each of their last eight encounters, scoring 26 goals in the process.
Arsenal Return After Brighton Setback
Arsenal return to the Emirates after a shock 3-0 defeat at Brighton in their last Premier League outing.
Goals from Pascal Gross, Charalampos Kostoulas and Chema Andres secured a stunning victory for the Seagulls.
Mikel Arteta’s men had more of the ball, but Brighton were good value for their victory, winning the shot count 17-11 and registering five efforts on target to the Gunners' two.
Before that surprise reversal, Arsenal had won each of their first seven games of the season. At least three goals were scored in four of those fixtures.
While usually reliable at the back, Arteta’s side leaked five goals in their two most recent fixtures. The Gunners secured a 4-2 Carabao Cup win at Ipswich before their nightmare defeat at the AMEX.
The hosts have remained dominant in home fixtures over the past 12 months. Arsenal won 17 and lost just two of their last 21 home EPL fixtures. An average of 2.76 goals per game were scored in those fixtures.
Leeds Extend Unbeaten Premier League Run
Leeds travel to London after a goalless draw against Crystal Palace in their last Premier League fixture three weeks ago.
Dominic Calvert-Lewin was among those who squandered good chances to secure victory at Elland Road.
Still, Palace deserved their point, with final match stats reflecting an evenly balanced contest. Leeds had slightly more possession (51% to 49%) and a marginally higher xG (1.31 to 1.06).
Before their frustrating draw against the Eagles, Leeds had secured an impressive 4-1 victory against Newcastle, with Calvert-Lewin scoring twice and Noah Okafor also on target.
Daniel Farke's side have now collected nine points from their first five league fixtures. The Whites picked up four points on the road, winning 1-0 at Nottingham Forest before a 1-1 draw at Brighton.
Leeds now find themselves fifth in the early-season standings, three points behind Arsenal.

William Saliba and Christos Tzolis are unavailable, while Declan Rice and Ezri Konsa are doubtful to feature after withdrawing from international duty.
Kai Havertz, Ben White, Cristhian Mosquera and Piero Hincapie are also listed as doubtful to feature this weekend.
Speaking after signing a new contract until 2030, Arteta expressed his confidence that further success lies ahead.
"This club is unique, its character and the way it makes you feel, and I have a great sense of privilege that our journey together will continue," Arteta said.
"We have already built a special bond and created memories that will last a lifetime, and what is so exciting is that this is only the beginning of what we can achieve together."
Leeds: (3-5-2) James Trafford; James Justin, Nico Elvedi, Tarik Muharemovic; Jayden Bogle, Ao Tanaka, Ethan Ampadu, Anton Stach, Gabriel Gudmundsson; Noah Okafor, Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
Leeds boss Farke also has some injury concerns ahead of their trip to London. Joe Rodon is sidelined with a hamstring injury, while Harry Wilson and Jean-Matteo Bahoya will be assessed before kick-off.
Mateo Joseph is a long-term absentee due to an ACL injury.
Farke could name an unchanged side after the draw against Palace, with Dominic Calvert-Lewin and Noah Okafor expected to lead the visitors' attack.
Reflecting on the draw against Crystal Palace, Leeds boss Daniel Farke praised his side’s defensive resilience despite a laboured performance.
“You can't expect to have 38 games of magical nights under the lights when you always overrun your opponents. We faced a difficult Crystal Palace side, and it was not our best game and a bit scruffy at the end.
“But the team had to fight and dig in, and it was defensively excellent, so I'm happy with that.”
