Missouri failed to retain a top-10 spot during the regular season, but a 9-3 record was more than enough to earn them a Bowl invite.
The Tigers opened with four straight wins, including a 30-27 victory in their SEC opener against Vanderbilt.
The dropped three of the next five games in the conference though, all against ranked teams, ensuring that they would miss out on place in the SEC Championship Game.
Missouri rallied over the final couple of regular season games however, winning back-to-back matchups.
The Tigers first went out on the road to down Mississippi State 39-20, before returning home for a 28-21 victory over Arkansas.
Iowa Form
Iowa won four of their final five games of the regular season to finish 8-4 and earn a Bowl Game appearance.
The Hawkeyes started the season in the top 25, but a 20-19 defeat to Iowa State in early September knocked them out of the rankings and they never got back in.
They won their Big Ten opener in Minnesota, 31-14, only to then lost two of their next three conference games, 35-7 to Ohio State and 32-20 to Michigan State.
Iowa got back on track at home though, beating Northwestern 40-14 and Wisconsin 42-10.
The Hawkeyes then rebounded from a 20-17 defeat at UCLA with a 29-13 win in Maryland and a 13-10 victory at home to Nebraska.
